Other Summer Conference Information:
During the 2009 TAMS conference, a ning website was set up to help keep attendees at the conference connected well beyond the conference. This site is a place to share your thoughts, challenges, successes, questions, best practices, photos, videos, etc. You can view the site at tams09.ning.com. To become a member, you need to be invited to join. Send an email to asummers@nmsa.org to get an invitation.

Just added! Nomination forms for Teacher/Administrator of the Year and Team Teaching Award of the Year. These prestigious awards are announced at the summer conference, and the nomination deadline is March 12. So, please act now to honor an oustanding colleague or team of dedicated middle level educators in Tennessee.

TAMS Distinguished Service Award
George Perry was one of the original founders of TAMS, a former board member, TAMS President, and long time Principal at Cedar Bluff Middle School in Knox County. He received the Donald Rhodes Distinguished Service Award from TAMS at the annual conference in June 2009.
