Winston Pickett was one of the original founders of TAMS. He served as the first Treasurer and later served as Conference Chair, President, and then Executive Director.

Ann Nero was a board member and Conference chair and TAMS President and continued to work on conference planning after her term as President.

 

GeorgePerry George Perry served as Principal of Cedar Bluff Middle School in Knox County for over twenty years and was one of the original founders of TAMS. He served as TAMS President and served on the TAMS Board for several years.

 

 

 

ArtGarnerArt Garner, one of the original founders of TAMS, received the Don Rhodes TAMS Distinguished Service Award in 2009. An Education Professor at the University of Memphis, he also was the first editor of the TAMS Tidbits newsletter and served in that position for 15 years.

 

 
BobGoff Bob Goff served as TAMS President, Treasurer, and Executive Director, and was the first recipient of the Don Rhodes TAMS Distinguished Service Award! Named for Don Rhodes, one of the founders of TAMS, the presentation was made in October 2008.
